Budgeting to stay out of debt

The New Year came and it was time for a financial reset. Many people live with debt or live pay check to paycheck. Having over budgeted all last year, I decided it was time for a financial reset. The joy of creating memories helped me plan our budget. Having too much stuff and clutter does not make one happy. To try to limit the clutter I decided were going on a debt diet. No spending diet for the next month. The hubs is doing a no alcohol diet for the next 28 days. I'm doing a not spending diet besides buying groceries and other necessities. The steps I opted to take are: Eating leftovers cooking only every few days Eating vegetarian foods part time. Yes, not only are they cheap but they are a good alternative to meat. Since the price of meat is considerably expensive. Knowing how to use them is the key. I'd prefer spending money on fresh vegetables rather than a big piece of meat. No shopping, rather occupying my time with outdoor activities and purging the house. Pr
